Traditional Speed March by IW Company, 45 Commando RM
Early July ICHT tyeam members welcomed troops from Infoirmation Warfare Company, 45 Commando RM. An early start from RM Barracks Condor, in Arbroath ensured an arrival time at the railway station Spean Bridge that would meet a busy program. On completyion of the 'commando speed march' route to Achnacarry a short 'nose-bag' lunch was followed by the enhanced guided tour by our own Ed Wilson. ACHNACARRY REVISITED - PARA COMMANDOS BELGE
WE WERE DELIGHTED TO MEET OUR FRIENDS FROM BELGIUM (again) EARLIER THIS YEAR Colonel SIX, Commanding Officer of the Commando Training Centre Belge, attended with two teams from the Belgian ParaCommando Forces to compete in the Annual Commando Speed March at Achnacarry. The 7 mile route starts as per the original commando test, from the Railway Station at Spean Bridge, Lochaber and follows most of the WW2 route to the gates of Achnacarry House (Castle Commnando).


EARLY SUCCESS BODES WELL FOR ICHC CONCEPT
We are pleased to confirm to our friends and supporters that the concept design for the International Commando Heritage Centre received the highest accolade for our architects Jon Frulani, when. they were awarded 'The Best Design on the Drawing Board" at th 2025 Dundee Institute of Architect Awards. The team at Jon Frulani are now working closely with our selected consultants to further preopare detailed plans for consideration.

Achnacarry and the Architect
